Bisphenol-A - Anti-dumping Duty Levied
G.S.R. (E). - WHEREAS in the matter of import of Bisphenol-A falling under Chapter 29 of the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), originating in, or exported from European Union and Taiwan, the designated authority vide its preliminary findings, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part I, Section I, dated the 27th April, 2000, has come to the conclusion that -
- Bisphenol-A originating in, or exported from, European Union and Taiwan has been exported to India below normal value, resulting in dumping;
- the Indian industry has suffered material injury;
- the injury has been caused cumulatively by the imports from the subject country or territory;
